John Silvester Associates was established in 2004 with the intention of providing a range of services to local government by experienced and skilled professional practitioners. Clients are largely within the local government sector.
The Principal is John Silvester DipP(Dist), MRTPI, MISPAL, MCMI. John is a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Manager with over 35 years experience in local government at city, county and district level. From 1993 to 2004 John was Director of Planning & Community Services at Surrey Heath Borough Council. John was also the national President of the Planning Officers Society for 2002/03. John has a wide range of planning experience and has an extensive network of contacts in government, within local planning authorities and in non-governmental organisations. John is also a Director of Planning Officers Society Ltd.
Associates are all former local government chief officers. JSA annually offsets its carbon footprint.
